DRUGS, CHEMICALS AND RADIATION DOCUMENTED TO CAUSE DESTRUCTION OF THE BONE MARROW BLOOD DISORDERS AND CANCERS – A FEW REFERENCES. January 2004 Bowman and Rand. Pharmacology Aplastic anaemia. “Most cases of aplastic anaemia are caused by drugs and chemicals”. “Ionization radiations have the same effect” Mosby’s Medical and Nursing Dictionary Aplastic anaemia (1990). “It may be caused by neoplastic disease of the bone marrow but more commonly by destruction of the bone marrow by exposure to toxic chemicals, ionising radiation, or some antibiotics or other medication” The British National Formulary No. 44 (by B.M.A. & Royal Pharm. ( the book doctors prescribe from in the U.K.) Chloramphenicol (antibiotic) Side effects. “Blood disorders including aplastic anaemia (with reports of resulting leukaemia)” Aplastic Anemia Answer Book. What are the Causes? “Aplastic anaemia has been clearly linked to radiation, environmental toxins, insecticides, and drugs in much the same fashion that cancer has been linked to these agents”. Annals of Internal Medicine 1982. Report from Umea University Hospital, Sweden. Report includes several cases of pituitary tumours resulting from Phenothiazine antipsychotic drugs. This paper refers to many others papers about phnothiazines causing pituitary tumours. (Phenothiazine drugs are documented in all good medical textbooks to cause blood disorders ) Questions to U.K. Parliament 11.1.1989. One answer “aplastic anaemia has been associated with nearly 200 prescribed drugs with over 1000 cases reported”. I received no reply to my next question “how many is the number over 1000?” 1001 or 50,000 as both these numbers are over 1000”. Answers also listed many toxic chemicals and radiation as causes. Report in Pharmaceutical Journal. 2.11.96 Only 6.3% of adverse drug reactions are reported. ( My comments - Doctors are not only bribed to grossly over prescribe but also to never report any side effects – see my paper on many reports of bribes to doctors from the drug industry over many years). Drug Induced Blood Disorders. Prof G.C. de Gruchy. “Aplastic anaemia is the most serious of the drug induced blood disorders. Drugs are the cause of at least half of all cases of aplastic anaemia.” (my own investigations into dozens of cases show this is correct but I found no cases were investigated to find a cause by the medical profession). Martindale Extra Pharmacopoeia. 1988 Benzene. Prolonged exposure has been associated with marked effects on the bone marrow and blood and may result in leukopenia, thrombocytopenia and aplastic anaemia. Chromosome abnormalities have also been reported. 100’s of prescribed drugs have a benzene content. See any good pharmacology book and references to medical papers noting that the benzene content of a drug causes blood disorders like aplastic anaemia, a precursor condition to cancers. This internationally accepted textbook also lists benzene related chemicals having the same but less marked effects E.G. Xylene. American Journal of Pathology 1949. Atomic Bomb Victims. Page 863 - Group 2. Patient dying in 3rd to 6th weeks or surviving severe clinical symptoms. “In Group 2 there were not only clinical evidences of the direct damage by ionising radiations such as epilation (hair loss), but also the manifestations of aplastic anaemia consequent upon destruction of the bone marrow”. Atomic Radiation and Life by Peter Alexander (a U.S. nuclear expert). “Not only has it been shown that the victims who were exposed to the bomb and had survived the other effects (my addition, the varying levels of bone marrow destruction) had a much higher incidence of leukaemia than is normal in the Japanese population, but there is correlation between the distance from the explosion (this gives the dose of radiation received) and the increase in leukaemia”. There are dozens of additional similar references which could be quoted. All say the same; Drugs Chemicals and Radiation have exactly the same effects on destroying the bone marrow. The severity of the effects on the bone marrow are dose related. The blood disorders are precursor condition to cancers. “Aplastic Anaemia Following Exposure to Benzene Hexachloride (Lindane)” Journal of American Medical Association 12 July, 1965. By J. Phillip Loge, MD Two cases of fatal aplastic anaemia following “prolonged indoor exposure to vaporized benzene hexachloride (lindane)” The opening paragraph expresses my feeling exactly on my investigations of dozens of cases of aplastic anaemia, including many cases following exposure to benzene hexachloride (lindane). Remember after years of battling against the medical profession, drug and chemicals industries and their political puppets we managed, after we supplied documented evidence of proof of a cause and effect leading to compensation, to get lindane banned. What a battle. “There is a natural hesitancy on the part of physicians to report apparent associations of aplastic anaemia and drug or chemical exposure” Dr. Loge also points out the years it took to admit that the drug chloramphenical was a cause of aplastic anaemia. (The BNF notes the “resulting leukaemia” with this drug following it causing aplastic anaemia. Several Media reports during the late summer of 2004 including one from The Times on 19th August gave information that benzene causes leukaemia in plastic factory workers and children living near petrol stations and repair garages were up to 7 times more likely to develop the disease. This information, which came from the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research, was said to be recent discovery but it is only what I have been pointing out for nearly 20 years including information I have sent to French cancer research organisations for the last 12 years!. If you look for blood disorders like aplastic anaemia, which are the precursor conditions to leukaemia and other cancers, you will always find an exposure to known causative agents which can often be measured in high levels in blood in those exposed and if you look at those exposed to the known causative agents, like benzene, you will find those suffering the blood disorders and cancers. If you do not look, as governments and the medical profession do not, you will not find them. The fact there is massive bribery from the drug industry to doctors to grossly over prescribe and not report any side-effects and that 100’s of prescribed drugs have these effects is one reason for the massive cover-up from governments and the medical profession. The recent reports of a pending court case in Italy of nearly 150 drug company salesmen from one drug company bribing 4,400 doctors with over £150 million is not unique and shows the scale of the problem in doctors being bribed to over prescribe and not to report drug side-effects. “The textbook explanation of the cause of cancers may have to change following a discovery that links bone marrow stem cells to stomach cancer and probably lung, liver, cervical and other cancers”. This was reported by Professor Timothy Wang of Columbia University, New York in the media in 2004, one report in the U.K was in The Telegraph 26th November. It is staggering that this information has been known for many years and yet medical researchers now claim these are new discoveries. I have been pointing this out for nearly 20 years!! The 100’s of prescribed drugs, toxic chemicals and radiation that are haemotoxin, genotoxin and carcinogens and which are documented to cause the many blood disorders which are known to be precursor conditions to cancers and affect stem cells in the bone marrow are the cause of most cancers in western nations. The increase in the incidence of cancers over recent years has everything to do with the increased sale of the products which are known to cause the blood disorders and cancers. Questions like how much did the solvents, known to cause blood disorders and cancers, which used to be in many sun tan creams until recently contribute to skin cancers when constantly applied to skin need to be answered. Reports from medical researchers in Germany that found two and a half times the risk of breast cancer in some age groups in those exposed to regular x-rays during screening for breast cancer and the increase in thyroid cancer in those exposed to high levels of strontium 90 etc from the Chernobyl nuclear accident confirm the information in medical textbooks and papers giving causes of cancers are accurate. When Israel banned the organochlorine pesticide lindane (benzene hexachloride) which is stored in body fat, hard to excrete, has a half life of about 30 years and well documented to cause aplastic anaemia and cancers the incidence of breast cancers in women dropped dramatically. The long overdue ban of lindane in the U.K. was delayed and hampered by the Government, manufacturers and the medical profession and only then because the huge numbers of deaths and injury due to blood disorders and cancers could no longer be covered up. We now have similar lies and cover-up on the effects of the cholinesterase inhibitor chemicals known as O.P’s (organophosphates) which have largely replaced lindane as an insecticide which are also drugs and nerve war chemicals. In my experience of investigating many cases the medical profession never investigates causes of the blood disorders which they know are caused by drugs, chemicals and radiation. It is easy to see why, governments, drug, chemical and nuclear industries wish to keep this information from the public as much as possible for economic reasons (drug company profits etc). I have worked with and been in contact with several experts, haematologists, nuclear, epidemiologists etc. who have tried to do research to show the connection between cancers and the blood disorders known to be precursor conditions to cancers and known to be caused by drugs, chemicals and radiation, not surprisingly they have all had their funding withdrawn or research stopped. I have several letters from these researchers wishing me “all the best with your endeavours” etc.
